"Paul Maker is an outstanding contributor to the New England LSC, both as an offiical and as a supporter of New England Swimming (NES). Having officiated in New England for more than 20 years, he holds local and national referee certifications and remains an active, respected, and an important member of NES officiating ranks. Paul has trained many individuals to become offiicials in New England. A number of people that he brought into the ranks are now referees, facilitators and national championship-certified officials, thanks to his mentoring, Because of his skills and fine reputation, Paul frequently serves as a meet referee for New England Swimming's Championship meets. He is immensely respected and well-liked by swimmers, coaches, officials and spectators alike Paul also has officiated at all levels from the U.S. Olympic Trials and national championships to summer league meets."
